I started at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts specifically at Hersheypark in 2023. I joined the Food & Beverage Department in the intention of joining the Attractions Team as a Lifeguard after the first season when I was eligible. That first year I built so many professional relationships with my supervisors and managers and so many personal relationships with my co-workers.After that first year, I decided to permanently stay inside the Food & Beverage Department. I am actively still employed here and is planning on being employed all through college and maybe a few years after college. I have worked my way through two promotions and two outstanding employee awards.
I started as a Food Team Member in April of 2023. This was the entry position for the Food & Beverage Department. I learned many skills that helps me now and will help me in the future. I got trained by amazing people to help me learned multiple different positions and skills that I used then and use all the time now.
I got promoted into this position in August of 2023, this position came with more responsibilities. These responsibilities included training Team Members and providing support to the Team Leaders. I also was in charge of assigned sections. The skills I learned in this position was teaching, problem resolution, delegation.
I got promoted into this position from my Assistant Team Leader position in May of 2025. This position required me to run a stand of 10-25 employees occasionally by myself if needed. I had to plan minor breaks with PA Child Labor Laws, provide support on each positions. Upkeep Company and Department Policies during the day, and providing proper actions through PAM's if a violation occur. The skills I learned in this position is Customer Service, Delegation, Child Labor Law, Basic HR Knowledge, Basic IT Support, daily planning, Customer Resolution, Advanced Food Safety Knowledge.
